Djurstagården
Djurstagården is a charming and historic Hälsinge farm in northern Hälsingland, with roots stretching back to the 17th century. Three generations live here together, with a wonderful age range of 60 years, and the farm has been a living agricultural property throughout history. From rabbits and turkeys to horses and cows – everything has found a place here! For the past 20 years, the farm has mostly functioned as a forest property, but now new exciting projects are underway.
The farm is now developing in terms of tourism and experiences, and we look forward to sharing our beautiful environment with you. Join us on healthy hikes through the peaceful woodlands or why not try renting a SUP board and heading out on the mirror-like Jättendalssjön.
If you are looking for a break from the pace of everyday life or the noise of the city, then Djurstagården is the perfect place for you. Here you can stay in a cozy little cottage in the fields or enjoy a unique experience in our large, beautiful Hälsinge farms.
Welcome to a place for peace, inspiration and nature experiences!

Our Family
A farm with history and community
Djurstagården has been in our family's possession since the 17th century, a place where generations have lived, worked and created memories. The farm has a rich history and a strong connection to both nature and the rural lifestyle.
Today, Hans-Åke is the oldest generation on the farm. He lives in the house "Hansgård" and is part of the living history that has shaped the place through the centuries.
Lina, Hans-Åke's daughter, lives in the house "Västbogår'n" with her three teenagers. She has taken on the family legacy and continues to nurture the farm's traditions while creating new opportunities for well-being and recovery.
In addition to the people who live here, the farm is also home to a few animals. Two cats roam freely and keep each other company both indoors and outdoors. The chicken coop houses five chickens and a proud rooster, which together contribute to the farm's rural charm and a sustainable lifestyle.
During the summer of 2025 we hope to have some little chickens on the farm.
Djurstagården is a place where history and the present meet, where generations come together and where the peace of nature is always present.
